A Farewell to Arms

Our bassist, Eugene McChew, and fiddler, Jeffrey O'Tan, have reached that certain age in a young man's life when he is called up and must go off to be conscripted in the military. They must therefore trade in their bass and fiddle for sandbags and spades and will be unable to continue to grace Gan Ainm as they will be stuck in the trenches on the eastern front (Tekong). This will also mean that Gan Ainm will unfortunately, have to go on an indefinite hiatus and this Saturday will be our farewell gig. Come down to McGettigan's Clarke Quay at 10:30pm on Saturday (28 May 2016) to get the two young lads heavily intoxicated and give them (and the rest of us) a proper send off, Gan Ainm style.
